Hello Readers, this is Jasmine. In this article I am going to introduce to you about an important person. Before talking about her, I just want to share something, nowadays we often talk and discuss about celebrities, scientists and politicians but we never discuss about the real reason behind their growth. Its their school and their teachers. Teaching is a noble profession. Compared to other professions, only a teacher can mould the student’s basic discipline, mannerism, body language and intelligence. It can never be an exaggeration to say that a teacher can change a student’s life towards betterment always. There are endless stories that stand as a proof for the strong relationship between a teacher and student. Nowadays students tend to choose the profession for safety only, but this is not the real purpose. The purpose of this profession is not to earn or to take a safer side; it is to change the society into a positive one. A teacher is capable of producing doctors, engineers and even higher officials such as IAS officers, but the vice versa is never possible. “Education is the transmission of civilization”. The inspirational teacher who, makes this awareness possible is Annapurna Mohan She is working in a Government school at Kanthadu, Vilupuram. She is an English teacher. When she realised her school is ill-equipped to teach English She sold off her jewels to convert her class into a digital classroom. She added a smart class system, new furnitures, new flooring and bought new books for the students. She is not a staunch supporter of English language but if it becomes a hurdle for her students, she help to overcome it.
